I work as a freelance writer and have had work published in a variety of magazines, including Prima Magazine, Popular Astronomy and Practical Family History Magazine.

My interests are varied. Writing is a real passion. I enjoy writing both fiction and non-fiction. Astronomy has been a keen interest of mine for the past twenty years. I have travelled fairly extensively to Asia, Africa, North and South America. I have also spent a lot of time in various European countries, including Sweden where I lived for a year, as part of my degree. I speak three European languages fluently, which has given me greater depth to my cultural understanding of different countries. Reading, especially British history and fiction is a hobby that I enjoy.

Currently I am a full-time mum, looking after my two children and family dog. Previously I worked as a secondary school language teacher.
